There is no gift registry in a Japanese wedding. No toasters, blenders, or kitchenware change hands. No books with well-meant or witty advice to young couples are given. Instead, there are envelopes. Beautifully decorated outside, and with secret contents inside. Tomoko & Bertel received many such envelopes, and they are deeply grateful for all.
